Try It: Baby Food Tracker (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information in connection with the Try It mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App is designed to function entirely offline and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user data to us or any third parties. Specifically:

• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, device identifiers, location data, photos (except those you take and store locally), or any other personally identifiable information.
• We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or any third-party SDKs that collect or share data.
• No user data is sent to remote servers, databases, cloud services, or any external parties.

2. Local Data Storage

All data you enter or create while using the App—including the list of foods tried, dates, completion status, custom food order, and any photos you take—is stored locally on your device only, using AsyncStorage (a local storage solution provided by React Native/Expo).

• This data never leaves your device.
• It is not synced to iCloud, any cloud service, or any server unless you explicitly enable such a feature in a future update (which is not currently implemented).
• If you delete the App or clear its data, all locally stored information will be removed from your device.

3. Backend and Web Services

Our Express backend (if any) is used solely to serve static content, including:

• The App’s landing page
• Support/contact page
• Expo manifest files (for app updates and configuration)

These services do not receive, log, store, or process any data from the App itself. No user-entered information is transmitted to or through these services.

4. No Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share any user data with third parties because we do not collect or receive any such data. The App does not integrate with any third-party services that collect information (e.g., no Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, advertising networks, or similar tools).

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for use by parents or guardians tracking their baby’s first foods. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal data at all, no special measures for children’s privacy are required beyond local storage on the device.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised “Effective Date.” We encourage you to review this page periodically.
